Stuart Baltman, MBA, PMP, Vice Chair

Mr. Baltman is currently a Management Consultant at Upside Consulting Group, where he focuses on helping service companies address complex growth challenges. Before joining Upside, Stuart held held a number of senior positions in the financial services, technology, health care and retail sectors including Director of Business Reengineering at JP Morgan Chase, Director of Program Management at LifeLabs (formerly MDS Diagnostic Services) and Manager Commercial Banking at RBC. The carve out of the $1.3B diagnostics business from life sciences conglomerate MDS following it's sale to OMERS is among Stuart's numerous business achievements.
Stuart earned his MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and his BA in economics from the University of Toronto. Stuart also holds a PMP (project management professional) designation from the Project Management Institute.
Mr. Baltman's community service experience includes volunteer positions at Baycrest, Mount Sinai Hospital, Second Harvest and UJA. Currently, in addition to his involvement with MDAO, Stuart is Treasurer of the Allenby School Parents' Association. His extracurricular interests include canoe tripping in Algonquin Park, Canadian art, skiing and hockey.
