Stop The Stigma Week - read more here
As part of our partnership with the Toronto Catholic District School Board, ten schools took part in Stop the Stigma Week activities during May - bringing awareness and education into schools and encouraging early intervention.
At the ten participating schools, there were assemblies where MDAO speakers shared their personal stories, and other activities like workshops, yoga, bake sales, and meditation. The events were a huge success, with teachers, students and parents becoming better informed and educated about mood disorders.
Members of Stop the Stigma Week can login into their private discussion area here.
